This YTT program is a holistic approach to teaching and it covers all aspects of a yogic lifestyle. The material is based on ancient yogic teachings and the experience of this course is transformational as it teaches you how to actively apply yogic knowledge in your day to day life as well as how to share this yogic knowledge with others.
This course is suitable for beginner or intermediate yoga practitioners, who wish to learn teaching methods and understand deeper scientific aspects of yogic practices such as Asana, Pranayama and Meditation.
This program will help you learn and explore yoga philosophy & practices in their ancient form and it will allow you to integrate them into our modern lifestyle. One who completes this course successfully can individually conduct classes for beginners in yoga.
1.) Practice - Basic & Preparatory Movements - Pre-Asanas; Yoga Poses – Asanas; Breathing Exercises – Pranayama; various techniques of Meditation; Sun Salutation - Surya Namaskar; Yogic Cleansing Practices such as Jala Neti, Sutra Neti, Shankaprakshalana among others
2.) Theory – Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, other types of Yoga, elements of Ayurveda, Yogic Life Style, Anatomy & Physiology, Injury Prevention in Yoga practice, Alignment principles in Yoga Poses.
